Position: Pediatric Nurse Practitioner

Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatrics and a passion for providing exceptional healthcare to children of all ages. As a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner at Airline Children’s Clinic, you will be responsible for providing primary care to pediatric patients, conducting physical assessments, diagnosing and treating common pediatric illnesses, prescribing medications, and educating patients and their families on preventative healthcare.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting physical assessments of pediatric patients
• Diagnosing and treating common pediatric illnesses
• Prescribing medications as needed
• Educating patients and families on preventative healthcare
• Collaborating with pediatricians and other healthcare professionals
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Participating in quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing with a focus on pediatrics
• Current Pediatric Nurse Practitioner license
• Certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in pediatric care
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
