Job Title: Debt Collection Specialist

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of delinquent accounts and work towards recovering outstanding debts.
• Contact debtors via phone, email, and mail to negotiate payment plans and resolve payment disputes.
• Update account information and maintain accurate records of all interactions with debtors.
• Adhere to all relevant laws and regulations related to debt collection practices.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve collection goals and targets.
• Provide excellent customer service to debtors and answer any inquiries regarding their debts.

Job Requirements:

• Prior experience in debt collection or related field preferred.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Knowledge of debt collection laws and regulations.
• Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software applications.
• High school diploma; additional certification in debt collection a plus.
