We are Hiring: Hospice Nurse

American Hospice is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Hospice Nurse to join our team. As a Hospice Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing holistic care to patients with terminal illnesses. You will work closely with interdisciplinary teams to deliver personalized care and support to patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assessing the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients
• Developing and implementing personalized care plans
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
• Providing education and support to patients and families
• Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
• Ensuring comfort and dignity for patients in their end-of-life journey

Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in hospice or palliative care
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
• Knowledge of hospice regulations and practices
