Job Description

We are currently seeking experienced Immigration Law Attorneys to join our team. As an Immigration Law Attorney at the American Immigration Law Foundation, you will:

• Provide legal representation and support to immigrants in various immigration matters, including asylum, deportation defense, and family-based petitions.
• Conduct research and analysis of complex legal issues related to immigration law.
• Prepare and file legal documents with government agencies, courts, and immigration authorities.
• Advocate on behalf of clients in immigration court hearings and other legal proceedings.
• Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to provide comprehensive legal services to clients.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Immigration Law Attorney position should have:

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing with a state bar association.
• Minimum of 2-5 years of experience practicing immigration law.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. immigration laws, regulations, and policies.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in a second language, such as Spanish, is a plus.
