Position: Ophthalmologist
As an ophthalmologist at Amina I. Malik, MD, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a wide range of eye conditions, performing surgical procedures, and providing ongoing care for patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting comprehensive eye exams
- Diagnosing and treating eye diseases and disorders
- Performing surgical procedures such as cataract surgery, LASIK, and corneal transplants
- Providing post-operative care and follow-up appointments
- Counseling patients on proper eye care and prevention techniques
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an ophthalmology residency program
- Board certification in ophthalmology
- Licensed to practice medicine in the state
- Excellent clinical skills and bedside manner
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
