Job Title: Humane Society Animal Care Technician

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide daily care, feeding, and enrichment for animals in the shelter
• Clean and maintain animal housing areas to ensure a safe and sanitary environment
• Assist with medical treatments and provide basic first aid to animals as needed
• Monitor animal behavior and report any concerns to the shelter manager
• Assist with adoptions and provide excellent customer service to potential adopters
• Coordinate and participate in fundraising and outreach events to promote the shelter’s mission

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with animals in a professional capacity preferred
• Knowledge of animal behavior, basic medical care, and shelter operations
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Compassion for animals and a commitment to their well-being
