Job Description:
As an Actuary/Insurance Analyst at Aon Risk Service Southwest Inc, you will play a crucial role in helping our clients navigate the complex world of risk management and insurance. You will be responsible for analyzing data, developing models, and evaluating risks to help our clients make informed decisions to protect their assets and minimize potential losses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct actuarial and statistical analysis to assess risk and determine insurance premiums
- Develop and maintain actuarial models to forecast future trends and pricing
- Analyze insurance policies and provide recommendations for coverage improvements
- Collaborate with underwriters, claims adjusters, and other stakeholders to ensure accuracy of data and pricing
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and regulations to provide expert advice to clients
- Communicate findings and recommendations to clients in a clear and concise manner
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
- Associate or Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) or Society of Actuaries (SOA) designation preferred
- 2+ years of experience in actuarial analysis or insurance analytics
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL, and actuarial modeling software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
