Job Title: General Contractor
Job Description:
As a General Contractor at Archicon Construction, Inc., you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction projects from start to finish. Your role will involve coordinating with subcontractors, managing the construction timeline, and ensuring that projects are completed to the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all phases of the construction process, from pre-construction planning to project completion
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project success
- Create and maintain project schedules and budgets
- Ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations
- Monitor project progress and address any issues that may arise
- Communicate effectively with clients and project stakeholders
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a General Contractor in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficiency in project management software
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management or a related field (preferred)
