Job Title: Fire Protection Equipment Technician

Job Description:

We are currently looking for a skilled Fire Protection Equipment Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, testing, and maintaining fire protection equipment, with a focus on fire extinguishers. This individual will work closely with our clients to ensure that their fire safety equipment is in optimal condition and ready for use in case of emergencies.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular inspections and tests on fire extinguishers to ensure they are functioning properly
• Perform maintenance, repairs, and refills on fire extinguishers as needed
• Install new fire extinguishers and educate clients on proper usage and maintenance
• Maintain accurate records of all equipment inspections, tests, and repairs
• Provide excellent customer service and address any client concerns or questions

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in fire protection equipment maintenance
• Knowledge of fire extinguisher types, classes, and usage
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
