Job Title: Loan Analyst

Job Description

As a Loan Analyst at Aries Capital, you will be responsible for conducting financial analysis, evaluating credit risks, and supporting the loan approval process. You will work closely with our team of loan officers to structure and underwrite loan transactions that meet the needs of our clients. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze financial statements, tax returns, and credit reports
• Assist in the preparation of loan packages for submission to lenders
• Participate in client meetings to gather information and understand borrower needs
• Perform market research and due diligence on prospective loan opportunities
• Collaborate with loan officers to negotiate loan terms and structure deals
• Monitor the progress of loan applications and communicate updates to clients

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field
• 1-3 years of experience in commercial real estate finance or banking
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of underwriting principles and loan documentation
