About Us

Position: Community Outreach Coordinator

As a Community Outreach Coordinator at Asian/Pacific America Heritage, you will play a vital role in connecting with the community, building relationships, and raising awareness about our organization’s mission and programs. You will work closely with community members, partner organizations, and volunteers to ensure the successful implementation of our initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement outreach strategies to engage with diverse communities
  • Coordinate community events, workshops, and programs
  • Build partnerships with local organizations to expand our reach
  • Create and distribute promotional materials, including social media content
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of outreach efforts and make recommendations for improvement
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve organizational goals

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, community development, or related field
  • Experience in community outreach, event planning, or volunteer management
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of Asian and Pacific Islander cultures and communities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and social media platforms
