Position: Medical Laboratory Technician

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team at Astro Diagnostics Inc. As a Medical Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of laboratory tests and procedures to assist in the diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring of various diseases and conditions. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting routine laboratory tests on specimens such as blood, urine, and other body fluids
• Preparing samples for analysis and performing manual and automated testing
• Operating laboratory equipment and instruments accurately and efficiently
• Recording and analyzing test results, and reporting findings to healthcare providers
• Ensuring compliance with laboratory protocols and safety regulations
• Assisting in the maintenance of laboratory equipment and supplies

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field
• Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) preferred
• 1-2 years of experience working in a medical laboratory setting
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of laboratory procedures, equipment, and safety protocols
