Position: General Merchandise Associate

As a General Merchandise Associate, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service, maintaining product inventory, and ensuring the overall success of the department. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Assist customers with product inquiries and purchases
• Receive, stock, and organize merchandise on the sales floor
• Monitor and maintain product displays to ensure a visually appealing shopping environment
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently at the point of sale
• Assist with inventory management and restocking as needed
• Follow company policies and procedures to ensure a safe and productive work environment

Qualifications:

• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management
• Ability to lift and move merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds
• Flexible schedule with availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
