Job Description
As a Gas Company Operations Specialist at Baker Hughes Company, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of gas production facilities. You will work closely with engineering teams, maintenance personnel, and contractors to ensure the safe and efficient operation of gas processing equipment and facilities.
Key Responsibilities
– Monitor and control gas production processes to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
– Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify and address maintenance needs.
– Coordinate with maintenance teams to schedule and prioritize repairs and upgrades.
– Analyze production data to identify opportunities for improvement and cost savings.
– Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
– Develop and implement operational procedures and best practices.
– Train and mentor junior operations staff.
Qualifications
– Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or related field.
– 5+ years of experience in gas production operations.
– Knowledge of gas processing equipment and technology.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
– Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
