Are you passionate about craft beer and looking to join a dynamic team in the brewing industry? Bakfish Brewing Co is currently seeking enthusiastic individuals to join us in the following position:

Brewing Assistant

As a Brewing Assistant at Bakfish Brewing Co, you will have the opportunity to work alongside our experienced brewers in all aspects of the brewing process. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals who are eager to learn and grow in the craft beer industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with various tasks in the brewing process, including grain milling, mashing, lautering, boiling, fermenting, conditioning, and packaging
• Clean and sanitize brewing equipment and maintain a clean work environment
• Monitor fermentation progress and assist with quality control testing
• Follow standard operating procedures and assist with recipe development
• Participate in brewery events and engage with customers in the taproom

Qualifications:

• Passion for craft beer and a desire to learn about the brewing process
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift up to 50 pounds
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Prior experience in a brewery setting is a plus but not required
