Baptist Temple Job Opening: Director of Worship

Baptist Temple, a thriving General Baptist Church located in the heart of the community, is seeking a talented and experienced Director of Worship to join our team. As a church committed to spreading the message of God’s love and grace, we are looking for an individual who can lead our congregation in meaningful worship experiences that bring people closer to Christ.

Job Title: Director of Worship

Job Description:

• Lead and oversee all aspects of the worship ministry, including planning and coordinating weekly worship services
• Select and arrange music, lead rehearsals, and provide musical direction for the worship team
• Create an atmosphere of worship that engages the congregation and helps them connect with God
• Collaborate with the pastoral team to ensure the worship services align with the overall mission and vision of the church
• Recruit, train, and mentor worship team members, helping them grow in their gifts and talents

Qualifications:

• A strong commitment to the Christian faith and a passion for leading others in worship
• Experience leading worship in a church setting, with proficiency in vocals and/or an instrument preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment
• Demonstrated leadership ability and a heart for serving others
• A Bachelor’s degree in Music, Worship Arts, or a related field is preferred
