Job Title: Funeral Planning Specialist
Job Description
As a Funeral Planning Specialist at Bellaire Chapel, you will be responsible for assisting families in making funeral arrangements for their loved ones. Your role will involve providing guidance, support, and personalized service to help families navigate through the funeral planning process during their time of grief.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet with families to discuss their wishes and preferences for the funeral service
- Guide families in selecting caskets, urns, flowers, and other funeral-related products
- Coordinate with clergy, musicians, florists, and other service providers to ensure a seamless funeral service
- Assist families in writing obituaries and arranging for transportation of the deceased
- Provide emotional support and comfort to grieving families throughout the funeral planning process
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in funeral planning or a related field is preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Compassionate and empathetic demeanor
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
