Position: Automobile Machinist

Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Automobile Machinist to join our team at Blackburn Machine & Fab. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automobile machine shop operations and a keen eye for detail. The Automobile Machinist will be responsible for performing a variety of machining tasks to produce high-quality parts for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate machine shop equipment such as lathes, mills, and grinders
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints
• Perform precision machining of automotive parts to tight tolerances
• Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in automobile machining
• Proficient in operating machine shop equipment
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards
• Excellent problem-solving skills
