Position: Coffee & Tea Specialist

As a Coffee & Tea Specialist at Boyd Coffee Company, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and consistency of our coffee and tea products. This position requires a strong knowledge of coffee brewing methods, flavor profiles, and customer preferences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee and tea, as well as a desire to continually learn and improve their skills.

Responsibilities:

• Roast and blend coffee beans to create unique and delicious flavors
• Develop new tea blends that appeal to a variety of tastes
• Conduct tastings and demonstrations for customers and employees
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and techniques
• Create training materials for staff on coffee and tea preparation
• Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to promote our products

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in the coffee or tea industry
• Strong knowledge of coffee and tea brewing methods
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Barista certification preferred
• Experience with roasting and blending coffee beans
