We are Hiring:

Position: Sous Chef

We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Sous Chef to join our kitchen team at Buffet King. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking and a strong background in Asian cuisine. This individual will work closely with our Head Chef to oversee our kitchen operations, prepare and cook dishes to the highest standards, and ensure a smooth and efficient service for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Head Chef in creating new and exciting menu items
• Supervise and train kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food preparation and presentation
• Ensure the kitchen operates in compliance with health and safety regulations
• Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
• Collaborate with management to develop specials and promotions

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Strong knowledge of Chinese and Asian cooking techniques
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Food handler’s certificate is a plus
