Buras Law Firm General Practice Attorney Position

Buras Law Firm is a well-established legal practice located in the heart of downtown New York City. We pride ourselves on providing top-notch legal services to our clients in various areas of law. Currently, we are looking to expand our team and are seeking a talented and motivated General Practice Attorney to join us.

Job Title: General Practice Attorney

Location: New York City, NY

Responsibilities:

• Provide legal advice to clients on a wide range of legal issues in various practice areas.
• Handle case management from inception to resolution.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Represent clients in court proceedings and negotiation sessions.
• Conduct legal research and stay up-to-date on developments in the law.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and staff members on complex cases.
• Maintain client relationships and ensure client satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New York State Bar in good standing.
• 2+ years of experience practicing law, preferably in a general practice setting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Demonstrated commitment to client service and ethical practice.
