Position: Scrap Metal Sorter

Job Description

We are currently seeking a motivated and hardworking individual to join our team as a Scrap Metal Sorter. As a Scrap Metal Sorter, you will be responsible for sorting and separating different types of scrap metal materials to ensure proper recycling and processing. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Sort and separate various types of scrap metal materials
• Ensure all materials are properly recycled and processed
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Assist with other recycling center tasks as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a recycling or industrial setting preferred
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work on your feet for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
