Position: Optometrist-OD-Therapy & Visual Training
Caroline K Odette, OD is a leading optometry practice dedicated to providing exceptional eye care services to our community in [Location]. We are currently looking for a highly skilled and dedicated Optometrist-OD-Therapy & Visual Training to join our team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive eye exams to assess patients’ vision and eye health
- Diagnose and treat various eye conditions and diseases
- Develop treatment plans for patients, including prescribing glasses, contact lenses, or vision therapy
- Provide vision therapy and visual training to patients with binocular vision disorders, eye teaming, or eye tracking issues
- Educate patients about proper eye care practices and the importance of regular eye exams
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited school of optometry
- Current state optometry license
- Completion of a residency program in Vision Therapy and Rehabilitation preferred
- Strong clinical skills and ability to diagnose and treat a wide range of eye conditions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
