Position: Director of Music Ministry

Cathedral of Truth is seeking a talented and passionate Director of Music Ministry to join our vibrant community. Located in the heart of downtown, our Catholic church is dedicated to spreading the message of faith and love in our diverse congregation. As Director of Music Ministry, you will have the opportunity to lead our choir, collaborate with our talented musicians, and enhance the worship experience for all who attend our services.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and direct the music ministry, including planning and coordinating music for all worship services
• Recruit, train, and develop choir members and musicians
• Select appropriate music for each service that aligns with the liturgical calendar and enhances the worship experience
• Collaborate with the pastoral team to integrate music into the overall worship experience
• Attend weekly rehearsals and Sunday services
• Participate in special events and concerts throughout the year

Qualifications:

• A strong commitment to the Christian faith and the teachings of the Catholic Church
• Experience leading a music ministry in a church or worship setting
• Proficiency in vocal and instrumental music, with a strong knowledge of liturgical music
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of volunteers
• Familiarity with Catholic liturgy and the liturgical calendar
