Champions at KIPP CONNECT Primary is a premier before and after school program located in Houston, Texas. We are committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment for students to learn, grow, and thrive. Our program offers a variety of engaging activities and enrichment opportunities designed to support the academic and social development of elementary school children.

We are currently hiring for the following position:

Job Title: Child Care Associate

Location: KIPP CONNECT Primary, Houston, Texas

Hours: Monday-Friday, 25 hours per week

Pay: $12-15 per hour (depending on experience)

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and engage with children in a safe and caring manner
• Assist with homework help and academic enrichment activities
• Plan and implement age-appropriate games, crafts, and projects
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
• Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and program leadership

Qualifications:

• Prior experience working with children in a childcare or school setting
• Passion for supporting the social and academic development of elementary school students
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willing to obtain)
