We are currently hiring for the following position:

Position: Education Program Coordinator

Job Description:

As the Education Program Coordinator at the Children’s Museum of Houston, you will play a key role in developing and implementing educational programs for children and families. You will work closely with museum staff, educators, and community partners to create engaging and impactful learning experiences that support the museum’s mission and goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and oversee educational programs and activities for children of all ages
  • Collaborate with museum staff to integrate educational content into exhibits and events
  • Coordinate and facilitate school group visits and educational workshops
  • Evaluate and assess the effectiveness of educational programs through data collection and analysis
  • Assist with grant writing and fundraising efforts to support educational initiatives
  • Build relationships with schools, community organizations, and other partners to expand the reach of the museum’s educational programs

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Museum Studies, or a related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in developing and implementing educational programs
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for working with children and families
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
