Position Available: Worship Leader

Job Description:

• Lead and coordinate worship services that align with the church’s mission and values
• Select and prepare music selections for worship services, including hymns, contemporary songs, and special music
• Recruit, organize, and train musicians, singers, and other volunteers to participate in worship services
• Collaborate with the pastor and other church leaders to plan and execute meaningful worship experiences
• Provide pastoral care and support to the congregation through music ministry
• Attend staff meetings, rehearsals, and other church events as required

Qualifications:

• Strong personal faith and commitment to Christian values
• Experience leading worship in a church or similar setting
• Proficient in playing an instrument (e.g., piano, guitar) and leading congregational singing
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups of people
• Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to undergo a background check and adhere to the church’s code of conduct
