About Citizens For Animal Protection Thrift Store
Citizens For Animal Protection Thrift Store is a non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing and finding forever homes for homeless animals, as well as promoting responsible pet ownership. Our thrift store plays a vital role in raising funds to support our programs and services, including animal rescue, spaying/neutering, and education initiatives. By shopping at our thrift store, customers not only find great deals but also help save animals’ lives.
Position: Humane Societies Associate
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service to thrift store visitors
- Assist with organizing and maintaining store merchandise
- Process customer transactions at the register
- Help create appealing store displays to attract customers
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve store goals
- Inform customers about the mission and work of Citizens For Animal Protection
- Support fundraising efforts to benefit animal welfare programs
- Follow all store policies and procedures to ensure a positive shopping experience
Qualifications:
- Passion for animal welfare and advocacy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
