We are Hiring Medical Assistants!

At Clinica Hispana Harrisburg, we are currently looking to expand our team of medical assistants to support our growing patient population. We are seeking dedicated and passionate individuals who are committed to providing excellent patient care and making a positive impact on the health and well-being of our community.

Job Title: Medical Assistant

Responsibilities:

• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and treatments
• Obtain and record patient medical history and vital signs
• Perform routine clinical procedures, such as phlebotomy and EKGs
• Prepare and maintain examination rooms for patient visits
• Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers
• Assist with medical office administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and updating patient records
• Ensure patient confidentiality and compliance with all HIPAA regulations

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program preferred
• Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred
• Prior experience working in a medical office or clinic setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Fluency in Spanish preferred, but not required
