• Perform eye exams and vision tests
• Diagnose and treat eye diseases and injuries
• Perform surgeries, such as cataract removal or laser eye surgery
• Prescribe medications and corrective lenses
• Counsel patients on proper eye care and treatment options

Qualifications:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Board certification in Ophthalmology
• Licenses to practice medicine in the state of Texas
