Job Description

As a Geophysicist at Control Microsystems, you will be responsible for conducting geophysical surveys and interpreting data to help our clients identify potential resources, assess environmental risks, and plan infrastructure projects. You will work closely with our team of geoscientists and engineers to analyze data collected from various instruments, such as seismic imaging, electromagnetics, and gravity meters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and conduct geophysical surveys to collect data on the earth’s subsurface.
  • Analyze and interpret geophysical data to generate maps, models, and reports for clients.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate geophysical data into project planning and development.
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in geophysical technology to ensure the use of best practices.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

Qualifications

  • A Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Geophysics, Geology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in conducting geophysical surveys and data interpretation.
  • Proficiency in geophysical software tools, such as Schlumberger Petrel, Landmark DecisionSpace, or Geosoft Oasis montaj.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
