Job Title: Freight Forwarding Specialist

Job Description:

As a Freight Forwarding Specialist at Crane Freight Services, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the transportation of goods from one location to another. You will work closely with clients, carriers, and other team members to ensure that shipments are delivered according to schedule and meet all necessary requirements. Specific responsibilities include:

• Communicating with clients to understand their shipping needs and preferences
• Coordinating shipments with carriers, including negotiating rates and scheduling pickups and deliveries
• Tracking and monitoring shipments to ensure on-time delivery and address any issues that may arise
• Preparing and processing shipping documentation, including customs paperwork when necessary
• Providing exceptional customer service to resolve any inquiries or concerns from clients

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• Prior experience in freight forwarding or logistics
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in MS Office and shipping software
