Job Title: Home Automation Systems Technician

Job Description:

As a Home Automation Systems Technician at Creative Lighting, AV & Automation, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining various home automation systems for our clients. You will work closely with our designers and project managers to ensure that each system is tailored to meet the unique needs and preferences of our customers. This role requires a high level of technical expertise, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and configure home automation systems, including lighting control, audiovisual equipment, security cameras, and more
• Program systems to meet client specifications and provide training on how to use them
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as needed
• Collaborate with designers and project managers to ensure seamless integration of technology into home environments
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and inventory of equipment

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in the installation and maintenance of home automation systems
• Certification in home automation technologies (such as CEDIA or Crestron) is preferred
• Strong understanding of networking principles and protocols
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
