Job Title: Masonry Contractor

Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of masonry work, including bricklaying, stone masonry, and concrete block construction
• Prepare building sites by laying out work using measuring tools and following blueprints
• Mix mortar and concrete by hand or using mixing machines
• Lay bricks or stones according to design specifications
• Cut and shape materials to fit specific project requirements
• Ensure all work is completed according to safety regulations and building codes
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in masonry construction
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project specifications
• Strong knowledge of masonry materials, tools, and techniques
• Good physical condition and stamina to perform labor-intensive tasks
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• OSHA certification is a plus
