Job Description:

We are currently seeking a talented and creative Interior Designer & Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to transform ideas into stunning interior spaces. As an Interior Designer & Decorator at Dec My Room, you will be responsible for collaborating with clients to understand their needs and preferences, creating design concepts, selecting furniture and decor, and overseeing the installation process to bring each project to life. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from residential to commercial spaces, and showcase your creativity and expertise.

Responsibilities:

• Meet with clients to discuss their design preferences and project requirements
• Create design concepts and mood boards to present to clients
• Select furniture, decor, and finishes that align with the client’s vision
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors to procure and install materials
• Oversee the project from concept to completion, ensuring quality and timeliness
• Manage project budgets and timelines effectively
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain positive client relationships

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field
• 3+ years of experience in interior design and decorating
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong knowledge of current design trends and styles
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
