Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Pediatric Cardiologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatric cardiology and a passion for working with children. As a Pediatric Cardiologist at Douglas S. Moodie, MD, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a variety of cardiac conditions in pediatric patients. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop comprehensive treatment plans and provide exceptional care to our young patients.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and diagnose cardiac conditions in pediatric patients
• Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with congenital or acquired heart diseases
• Perform non-invasive cardiac testing, including echocardiograms and electrocardiograms
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care for patients
• Provide patient and family education on cardiac conditions and treatments
• Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Board certification in Pediatric Cardiology
• Licensure to practice medicine in the state
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
