Job Title: Chemical Engineer

Job Description

As a Chemical Engineer at Dow Chemical, you will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects that directly impact our business and the world around us. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing processes to produce chemicals and materials efficiently and safely. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize existing processes, troubleshoot any issues that arise, and develop new products.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and optimize chemical processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs
• Conduct experiments and analyze data to develop new products and technologies
• Collaborate with colleagues in research, production, and quality control to ensure product quality and safety
• Provide technical support to customers and internal stakeholders
• Stay current on industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a chemical engineering role
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Knowledge of chemical process simulation software is a plus
