Position: Medical Assistant

Job Description:

As a Medical Assistant at Dr. Michael T Mineo, MD, you will play a vital role in assisting the physicians and surgeons in providing high-quality care to our patients. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting physicians and surgeons during examinations and procedures
• Taking vital signs and documenting patient information accurately
• Preparing treatment rooms for patient visits
• Administering medications as directed by healthcare providers
• Performing basic lab tests and procedures
• Communicating effectively with patients and families
• Assisting with scheduling appointments and managing patient records

Qualifications:

We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a medical assistant program
• Current CPR certification
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Previous experience in a medical setting is preferred
