Position Summary

We are currently seeking a licensed optometrist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatric optometry and a passion for working with children. This position offers the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of young patients by providing comprehensive eye exams, diagnosing and treating vision problems, and prescribing corrective lenses or medications as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough eye exams for pediatric patients
• Determine visual acuity and prescribe corrective lenses
• Diagnose and treat eye conditions such as amblyopia, strabismus, and refractive errors
• Educate patients and their families about proper eye care and treatment options
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited institution
• Valid state optometry license
• Specialization in pediatric optometry preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
