Job Responsibilities:
As an Energy Conservation Consultant at Duke Energy, you will play a key role in promoting energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting energy audits and assessments for residential, commercial, and industrial customers
- Developing customized energy conservation plans based on audit findings
- Providing recommendations for energy-efficient technologies and practices
- Educating customers on the benefits of energy conservation and sustainability
- Collaborating with internal teams to implement energy-saving programs
- Monitoring and evaluating the impact of energy conservation efforts
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental science, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in energy efficiency, sustainability, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of energy conservation principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Certifications such as Certified Energy Manager (CEM) or LEED Accredited Professional are a plus
