Job Responsibilities:

As an Energy Conservation Consultant at Duke Energy, you will play a key role in promoting energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting energy audits and assessments for residential, commercial, and industrial customers
  • Developing customized energy conservation plans based on audit findings
  • Providing recommendations for energy-efficient technologies and practices
  • Educating customers on the benefits of energy conservation and sustainability
  • Collaborating with internal teams to implement energy-saving programs
  • Monitoring and evaluating the impact of energy conservation efforts

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental science, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in energy efficiency, sustainability, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of energy conservation principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Certifications such as Certified Energy Manager (CEM) or LEED Accredited Professional are a plus
