If so, Duncan Recital Hall at Rice University is looking for you to join our team! We are currently seeking a talented individual to fill the role of Events Coordinator for our premier halls, auditoriums, and ballrooms.

About Duncan Recital Hall:

• Located on the beautiful campus of Rice University in Houston, Texas
• State-of-the-art facility with a capacity of 300 guests
• Hosts a wide range of events including concerts, recitals, lectures, and more

Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and oversee all aspects of event planning and execution
• Work closely with clients to understand their event needs and preferences
• Create detailed event proposals and timelines
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless event logistics
• Supervise event setup, breakdown, and clean-up
• Manage event budget and expenses
• Provide excellent customer service to clients and guests

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, or related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in event coordination or management
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Detail-oriented and proactive approach to problem-solving
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
