We are Hiring:

Position: Machine Shop Technician

Location: Houston, Texas

Job Description:

As a Machine Shop Technician at Electro Coatings of Texas Inc, you will play a crucial role in our production process. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining a variety of machines and equipment used for metal finishing and coating applications. This includes but is not limited to grinding, milling, turning, and drilling machines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate machines to produce parts to required specifications
• Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency
• Maintain machines and equipment in good working condition
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs as needed
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth workflow
• Assist in other areas of production as necessary

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in a machine shop environment
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
• Knowledge of various machining techniques and processes
• Ability to use precision measuring tools
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects
