Job Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and sew fabric or leather to upholster furniture pieces
• Repair or replace worn-out padding, springs, and webbing in furniture
• Attach fabric or leather to furniture frames using staples, tacks, or glue
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality and accuracy
• Collaborate with designers and clients to determine upholstery needs

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an upholsterer
• Proficient in using upholstery tools and equipment
• Knowledge of different types of fabrics and materials
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
