Position Available: Disabled Accessibility Contractors

Job Description

Elevators of Texas, Inc. is currently seeking experienced Disabled Accessibility Contractors to join our team. As a Disabled Accessibility Contractor, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining elevators and lifts that are specifically designed to meet the needs of individuals with disabilities. Your role will involve working closely with clients to assess their accessibility requirements and provide customized solutions to improve their mobility and independence.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and configure elevators, wheelchair lifts, and other accessibility devices
• Conduct inspections and perform regular maintenance on existing systems
• Troubleshoot and repair technical issues with accessibility equipment
• Collaborate with clients to understand their specific needs and preferences
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
• Provide training and support to clients on how to use accessibility equipment

Qualifications

• Valid contractor’s license in the state of Texas
• Prior experience working with disabled accessibility equipment
• Strong technical and mechanical skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of relevant safety codes and regulations
