Job Description

As a Civil Engineer at Engineers Week Houston, you will play a key role in the planning, design, and construction of various civil engineering projects. You will be responsible for overseeing the development of infrastructure, such as roads, bridges, drainage systems, and more. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring the successful completion of projects while adhering to industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed designs and plans for civil engineering projects
• Conduct feasibility studies and site investigations
• Collaborate with other engineers and professionals to ensure project success
• Manage project budgets and timelines
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior staff
• Review and approve project drawings and documents

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles and practices
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
