Position: Environmental & Ecological Consultant

Location: Chicago, IL

Job Description

ESD is seeking a passionate and experienced Environmental & Ecological Consultant to join our team in Chicago. The role of the consultant will involve working closely with clients to assess their environmental impact, develop sustainable strategies, and provide actionable recommendations to minimize their carbon footprint.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct environmental assessments and audits to identify opportunities for improvement
• Develop and implement sustainable design strategies for buildings and campuses
• Research and analyze environmental trends and regulations to ensure compliance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability into project plans
• Present findings and recommendations to clients in a clear and concise manner
• Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and emerging technologies

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, Engineering, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in environmental consulting or a similar role
• Strong knowledge of sustainability principles and regulations
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and presentation abilities
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools
