Position: Optometrist – OD – Therapy & Visual Training

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive eye exams to assess visual acuity and diagnose eye conditions.
• Develop personalized treatment plans for patients with vision impairments, including therapy and visual training.
• Prescribe corrective lenses, contact lenses, and other visual aids as needed.
• Educate patients on proper eye care practices and assist them in achieving optimal visual health.
• Collaborate with other eye care professionals, such as ophthalmologists and opticians, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in optometry and participate in continuing education to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid state optometry license and board certification in Therapy & Visual Training.
• Demonstrated experience in diagnosing and treating vision impairments, particularly in therapy and visual training.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with patients and collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
• Detail-oriented with excellent clinical judgment and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced clinical environment.
