Position: Medical Assistant

Job Description:

As a Medical Assistant at Fairway Medical Clinic, you will play a crucial role in supporting our healthcare providers and ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Assisting physicians and nurses with patient examinations and procedures
• Preparing treatment rooms for patient visits
• Taking and recording vital signs
• Completing patient medical histories
• Administering medications as directed by healthcare providers
• Performing basic laboratory tests
• Assisting with patient education
• Maintaining medical supplies and equipment
• Ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the clinic

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a Medical Assistant program
• Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) preferred
• Previous experience in a medical clinic or healthcare setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of medical terminology and basic medical procedures
