Position Available: Glass Artisan

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a talented Glass Artisan to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with glass and creating stunning designs. As a Glass Artisan at Farrells Art Glass, you will be responsible for crafting beveled, carved, etched, ornamental, stained, and leaded glass pieces. Your creativity and attention to detail will be essential in producing high-quality works of art that exceed our clients’ expectations.

Responsibilities:

• Create beveled glass pieces using cutting-edge techniques
• Carve intricate designs into glass surfaces
• Etch glass to create unique patterns and textures
• Design ornamental glass pieces for residential and commercial projects
• Create stained and leaded glass windows, doors, and panels
• Collaborate with clients and design team to bring their vision to life
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in glass artistry
• Demonstrated skills in glass beveling, carving, etching, and staining
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in glass cutting tools and equipment
• Knowledge of safety protocols when working with glass
