Fertility Resources of Houston is a leading fertility clinic dedicated to helping individuals and couples navigate the complexities of infertility and achieve their dream of starting a family. We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Infertility Counselor to join our team and provide support to our patients.
Job Responsibilities:
Provide individual and group counseling to patients experiencing infertility
Assess the emotional and psychological needs of patients undergoing fertility treatments
Create customized counseling plans to address each patient’s unique situation
Collaborate with our team of fertility specialists to ensure a holistic approach to patient care
Offer guidance and support to patients throughout their fertility journey, including during treatment cycles and pregnancy
Educate patients on coping strategies and stress management techniques
Maintain accurate and confidential patient records
Stay current on advancements in infertility counseling and treatment
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Counseling or a related field
Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
Experience working with individuals or couples struggling with infertility
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Empathetic and nonjudgmental approach to counseling
Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
Flexibility to adapt to the needs of a fast-paced clinic environment
